George V silver inkstand, the pad footed galleried base inset with two matching glass and silver topped inkwells, inscribed to centre of stand, 'from Dalkeith, December 1923'. Hamilton and Inches, Edinburgh 1923, W21.5cm, approx. silver weight 420g.

The silver is heavily tarnished, the lid on one inkwell is completely loose due to chips on the glass rim lip, their are other smaller chips to the edges of the glass inkwells.
