Walnut armchair, c. early 20th century, upholstered in period floral cream découpage with red stripes of trailing foliage, stamped 'Howard & Sons London' to all brass caps, stamped 'Howard & Sons Berners St' to back support, numbered 16882-8458, the underside marked 'From Howards Ltd., Berners St, London', on brass caps and castors, with later upholstered squab cushion and 18th century-style green silk and gold brocade embroidered cover.

Lacking upholstery to the armrests. Age-related staining to the fabric. Age-related hole to the brocade cover. There is a piece of wood lacking to the support. Back rest and arm rests are fairly sturdy despite their age. There are age-related scuffs and marks to the wood.
