Quarto exercise book in marbled brds., full, containing a diary (whilst he was in India), hurriedly written in pencil, 1855; also his manuscript "Kitmagar Account, Nov. 1855" & a small bundle of manuscript ephemera incl. Commission, orders, bills & letters. C.1850s.; also Alexander R. B. Warrand, 5 military commissions & certificates incl. Commission, 72nd Foot, 1880, signed by Queen Victoria on the reverse of which Warrand has summarised his military career including his presence at Tel El Kebir where he "saw Arabi Pasha galloping off the field on a white Arab, but out of shot".
