Each of our four auction centres have dedicated departments dealing with mid century and modern design, this includes furniture, studio ceramics and glass, modern art and pictures.

Over recent decades we have seen an increased demand for these items and a new awareness of the craftsmanship and skill in these more modern pieces.

Danish designs are particularly in demand as well as British pieces by Ercol, G Plan, Ladderax, and McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, as well as ceramics by Martin Ware, Lucie Rie and other talented ceramicists.

As well as offering free valuations, we also provide professional written valuations for insurance, family division, divorce, sale by private treaty, probate or inheritance tax purposes.
