Lieutenant Colonel Aymer Edward Maxwell, 1877-1914,
Group of six Military commissions, framed and glazed. served with the Grenadier Guards in the Boer War, with Royal Marines Cdg. Collingwood Bn. R.N. Div. and with Lovat Scouts in WWI, died of wounds DOW 09 October 1914. Sir Aymer Maxwell, 8th Bt. of Monreith 1911- 1987, served as a Captain in the Scots Guards.
