DUFF HUGH ROBERT, of Muirtown. Radiger or The Hall of Odin, A Tragedy, In Five Acts. 52pp anonymous publication, the leaves (printed at the Journal Office, Inverness, 1819) pasted into a quarto sketch book with manuscript notes & annotations & inscribed "Translated 15th Sept. 1819 by H.R. Duff Muirtown, Inverness, N.B." with a full page manuscript poem "To the Gentlemen of  ..... Drury Lane Theatre Royal; also 11 loose, rather crude, small watercolours & drawings, profile portraits & 2 copies of Hannibal, A Tragedy in Five Acts by H.R.D. Esq., 32mo., orig. prntd. wrappers, Printed for the Author, 1820. Hugh Duff, a military man & author was the discoverer & editor of The Culloden Papers. He was married to Sarah Louisa Forbes of Culloden about whom was fought the last duel in Scotland. (See also lots 23 & 24)
