New Hall "Views in Kent" teacup of Bute shape, the handle of rare kinked loop form similar to Spode, pink band and gilt decoration with an oval polychrome vignette depicting Manley House, Kent, c.1795; also teacup and saucer, gilt sprays and pink bands, with a handle to match the previously described cup, this from the Herrick collection.  The teapot from this Views in Kent service is illustrated as colour plate 32 in Godden, New Hall Porcelains. (This sold in 2012 for £5,000). The views are based on Samuel Ireland's book Picturesque Views on the River Medway, published in 1793.
