Misprint for "almost" at foot of p.36. Crested dark cloth gilt. Sherwood, Neely and Jones, 1819. The first Vampire novel in the English language, originally attributed to Lord Byron with whom Polidori was employed. Conceived on the same evening as Mary Shelley`s Frankenstein.
