Stamped dark morocco gilt extra with blue silk endpapers. Privately Printed, 1904.   Alexander Rolland Peacock, (originally from Dunfermline), a businessman & partner of  Andrew Carnegie, collected paintings of the period, mainly from the Barbizon School. Works from his collection were sold by The American Art Association in New York, January 10th 1922. The catalogue includes detailed biographies of the various artists in the collection.
