Rare New Hall dessert basket, decorated in the manner of George Davis, with insects and fruit sprigs within a husk border, of lobed quatrefoil form with pierced rim and leaf and branch handles. 25cm long, c.1787/88. Prov. Mercury Antiques and Pat Preller collection. Possible alternative attribution to Enoch Wood.
