New Hall teapot with stand, blue printed in "Mandarin" pattern, of later intermediate silver shape (see Godden plate 157), with curved faceted spout and upright loop handle, bulb finial. 16cm high, c.1794/98; also a similar teapot and stand in silver shape, blue printed with "Trench Mortar" pattern.  (2).

Wear to gilded decoration but most apparent to the 'Trench Mortar' pattern example. Wear to handles and rims. 'Trench Mortar'stand has a large glaze impurity to the right side. 'Mandarin' pattern stand has smaller glaze impurities and a gilded drop to centre.
